The Community Asset Partner Network (CAPN) is a group of dedicated youth-serving professionals that provide an opportunity for communities, schools, organizations, and individuals throughout Monroe County to come together and share information about asset-building efforts. CAPN also offers training in the 40 developmental assets and hosts the yearly “Asset Dynamo” award ceremony to celebrate those in our communities displaying, teaching, and promoting the assets to youth.

Trainings Offered

Assets 101 – in this training attendees will be introduced to the Search Institute’s 40 Developmental Assets frame work. Attendees will learn what the assets are, the research that has proven their benefits and how youth acquire them. This is an interactive training.

Asset Super Hero Training – this training helps attendees focus in on their own asset super powers and helps them realize the tools they already possess to be an asset super hero in their community! Attendees will learn the powerful research behind the 40 Developmental Assets frame work and the statistics that show they are critical for youth development! This in an interactive training.
